Wireless Switches

Now here's a smart move: Remove the filtering/authentication/kitchen sink from the access points (keeping only the RF/PHY/MAC layer handling there) and move it to a central location, (theoretically) saving on hardware costs. Call it a "wireless switch" (another triumph of marketing over meaningful naming, of course), and sell it for a small fortune.

Better still, sell your company to Cisco.
