Firefox

The "new" name for Mozilla Firebird, chosen in order to avoid confusion with another project.

Extremely Dumb Windows Tip:

If you're getting two Firefox windows when clicking on a link inside Outlook, then go into Folder Options, File Types, URL:Hyper Text Transfer Protocol, Advanced, Edit "open", remove the "use DDE" check box.

Turns out Outlook would rather talk DDE to your browser than use WinExec like everyone else... And don't forget to do the same for HTTPS.

My usual about:config tweaks, now updated for version 3:

network.http.pipelining true
network.http.proxy.pipelining true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests 16
nglayout.initialpaint.delay 0
gfx.color_management.enabled true
