I think it would work OK for me. I don’t get why they’re so hung up on printing - I haven’t printed one of my own documents in years (I just e-mail the PDF around). Sharing might be the only relevant limitation considering that the main design priority for what is admittedly a first version seemed to be to enable people to create quick drafts and simple documents, not replace the full iWork suite (and if you think real documents are created in one go even on a desktop, I can tell you a thing or two about doing presentations…).
