Google Calendar and Contact Sync for iPhone

The amazing bit as far as I’m concerned is that they’re actually using ActiveSync, which means Google went to the trouble of re-implementing (or, most likely, licensing) a server-side implementation to make their services look like an Exchange server (somehow I don’t think they’re running a cluster of Microsoft boxes). And, with it being supported on Google Apps For Your Domain, I have to wonder how many hosted Exchange providers aren’t wondering what to do to their business cases. And no, I’m not going to go on about MobileMe – I still hope that Apple has it in them for making it a better service.
