John Siracusa mulls the state of ebooks today and nicely (if long-windedly) explains the drivers behind things, narrowly avoiding spelling out outright that Apple could well have built one – and yet, that the current devices might be good enough already. Ironically enough, this is the kind of thing I would rather read offline – but Ars Technica persists on not having full feeds or an easy way to obtain a print version…
