Amazon's New Music Store - MP3 Bestsellers

I find it rather funny that KT Tunstall (who played at the last Stevenote) is in the top place right now.

So, Apple, can we finally have a single, global price for music, or are we going to keep putting up with different prices across Europe? Amazon works out for us at around Eur. 0.60 a song, and accepts our credit cards…

The anti-DRM weenies will, of course, have a field day with this, until some idiot points out that it’s not Ogg Vorbis.

Normal people will like to know it’s high-bitrate VBR (roughly 256Kbps, from what my buddies tell me).

Update: the guys over at the spool obviously aren’t very creative. Ever heard of spoofing an address? And yeah, I know how the online music business works, thank you – that wasn’t my point.
