Counter-Strike

Counter-Strike is a team-oriented Half-Life variant that focuses on terrorist/counter-terrorist scenarios, made famous by two factors:

• The sheer number of players it mustered (over twice that of the plain Quake and Unreal variants)
• The amount of cheating and hacking it brought to online FPS play
