iPod (Classic)

Probably the best MP3 player in the world, it is admittedly a bit expensive, but doubles as an USB/Firewire hard disk.

It can sync to iCal (via iSync), and there is now no distinction between Windows and Mac versions (Generation 1 devices which needed a Firewire card and included a 6-to-4 pin adapter - powered to non-powered).
