Courtesy of pfig, here’s a snapshot of the Apple service policy regarding iPhones – you can only get them serviced in the country you bought them in, and (of course) they take no responsibility from it getting bricked while they update it (which makes perfect sense). This notice is posted on the London Apple Store on Regent St.
