- Ubuntu 6.10 was released. Mine still doesn't do suspend/resume properly, even on an ACPI-enabled desktop machine (I haven't bumped my laptop up from pre-release to the final packages - other than suspend/resume it's working, and I'm not suicidal).
- The Mars rovers keep on truckin' (it's been a while since I panned 22.000-pixels-wide images on my 20" LCD)
- Ah, yes, Yahoo bookmarks. Am I the only one re-visiting the notion of backing up my del.icio.us account?
- Via pfig, here's why Dell will never beat Apple. If that's the best they can do in terms of future vision (regardless of context - yes, yes, I know where that video was shown), they're pretty much sunk. That or they've got a whole new "negative Marketing" angle that I haven't figured out yet.
- And yes, I've read all about Larry Ellison pulling RedHat's leg by "rebranding" RHEL and undercutting their support fees. Rather typical Oracle move, actually.
