Due to issues with the flatfile back-end, I've just had to rehash the entire PhpWiki backend and point it to an (emergency) mySQL database - another incentive to dump PhpWiki entirely in the near future and get on with my own Wiki...
It should feel snappier, though. mySQL flies on my boxen.
