The HP w17e is a 1440×900 native resolution, 17” monitor that I got recently as a replacement for my Mac mini’s ailing console.
Although I haven’t had time yet to fiddle around with display overrides to get the mini to use the native resolution (which it can’t figure out on its own), I have already figured out that whatever I do, the resulting .plist needs to be placed at:
/System/Library/Displays/Overrides/DisplayVendorID-756e6b6e/DisplayProductID-717
If I happen to have time and patience to get it to work, I’ll post the results here.
