This is a meta-node to group together image editing applications and suchlike. There are more in the SeeAlso map below.

Interesting Applications:

  • Seashore - GIMP-derived, but without the suckage. Works well.
  • Cenon - great CAD-oriented vector tool
  • OmniGraffle - Visio-equivalent
  • ChocoFlop - uses CoreImage, seems to be evolving fairly well
  • ArtRage

Cocoa Ports I'd like to See:

  • GimpShop - GIMP with a decent UI, but still X-based.
  • Inkscape
  • Xara LX (no binaries avalable, Mac port apparently dead).
