Beryl

Beryl is a compositing manager for X that also acts as a (rather overdone) window manager. It is to a standard window manager like bling is to eye-candy, and it's the trendy thing to bolt on to Linux distributions in 2006, even though it can't hold a candle to Mac OS X's polish (at least not just yet).
